General Escape Room Booking Information
Online - just click one of the booking buttons! You can also book over the phone at 415-997-8522, ext. 2. Have a credit card handy – payment is due at the time of booking.
Each escape room reservation is $425 total (including taxes and fees).
The escape rooms may be enjoyed in any order! The Edison Escape Room is a great option for first time players, but all games have been enjoyed by players of various experience levels.
Each full room reservation accommodates up to the room's maximum capacity (up to 8 per room) for close to a two hour immersive game experience (including introduction, play time, team photo, etc.).
If you would like to book multiple rooms around the same time, add one room reservation to your cart and then click “continue shopping” to add the other room reservation(s) individually.
Rooms start on a staggered schedule with at least 15 minutes between each room's start time.
There is only one of each of our escape rooms, totaling 4.

The minimum age for all escape rooms is 16 years old. The minimum age for Escape the Palace is 18.

If you do not see a specific time slot in our listings, that room has been booked. All available time slots are visible online when you click a booking button.
Escape the Palace is our large group puzzle hunt activity. It is currently undergoing refurbishment and will not be available again until 2023.

Group Size Information
The Houdini Room, Roosevelt Room, Edison Room, and The Attraction can accommodate a groups up to 8. Learn more about recommended group sizes and minimums on each room's information page (linked above).
You may NOT exceed the maximum limit of 8 players per room.
Groups exceeding the maximum capacity for an individual room should book multiple rooms. Up to 4 escape rooms can be booked around the same time.
Groups larger than 32 may need to book additional rooms in different time slots to accommodate the group size.

Each escape room reservations accommodates up to 8 players max. You may NOT exceed this limit.
No, you cannot exceed the limit of 8 players in the Attraction under any circumstances. You'll understand once you play!
If you have a group of 9-10 you were hoping to squeeze into The Attraction together, you will have to split into 2 groups. Luckily, The Attraction works well with groups of 4-5!
Players Under 18
Players under 18 must be accompanied by an active adult chaperone during the game. The chaperone will count toward the player total. We encourage all adult chaperones to join in on the fun!
The minimum group age for all escape rooms is 16 years old. If you bring a group of players under 18, they must all be at least be 16 and include an adult chaperone.
You are welcome to bring along 1-2 players under 16 if they will be playing with a group of adults.* They will count towards your player total.
Please keep in mind that parts of the Roosevelt Room may not be appropriate for very young children. (Not due to "adult content" – rather loud noises they might find frightening.)
*All players in The Attraction must be at least 13 years old.
Game Room Information
The Game Room at Palace Games is a unique event space for groups up to 16.
It can be booked for meetings, post-game team debriefs, parties, game nights, meals, and other events! You can book it as part of your escape room experience or for a stand alone event.
The Game Room is not a game, but it is filled with a huge selection of board games!

Each 90 minute Game Room time slot is $195 for up to 16 guests.
Arrival & Game Day Information
Please review our Arrival Information Page and Health and Safety Protocols before your game.
Please go to the Palace Games entrance – a set of large green doors, located at 3362 Palace Drive (Palace Drive runs around the back / western curve of the Palace).
Ring the doorbell to be let in. Our entrance is locked at all times.

Yes. We need a signed digital waiver for every player before the game. Please do not bring in a printed paper copy.
You can access the waiver by clicking the waiver button in your confirmation email. Either forward the confirmation email, or share the waiver page URL with the other players.
If you have multiple rooms booked, please have players sign the waiver for the room they will play.
Waivers must be completed on your personal device. Please complete waivers BEFORE your arrive.
When you sign the waiver properly (correct email address, correct game, etc.) you will receive your team photo shortly after the game!
A mask covering your mouth and nose!
Comfortable clothes and shoes.
Skirts and dresses may not be appropriate for The Roosevelt Escape Room.
Dress in layers. The Palace may be cold, but the room itself will be warm.
Your energy and enthusiasm is all you need! We will ask that bags and phones be placed in a basket in the room. Bringing a confirmation or printed paper waiver is not necessary.

We strongly recommend that you take all visible bags or valuables out of your car.

No. We ask that you refrain from taking photos or any type of recording in the room in order to maintain the mystery for future players.
Of course! Teams within a room’s maximum capacities should not feel cramped. If you need to exit the room at any time because you are uncomfortable, you may absolutely do so.
No – just with your imagination! The entrance to the room remains unlocked at all times.
Each room contains at least one chair. (Please contact us if specific accommodations are needed.)
Please block out 2 hours for the entire Houdini, Roosevelt, or Edison Room experience. This includes the check-in, introduction, play time, and post game. (Actual time playing varies between rooms and groups.)
Our waiver system is also our photo system. Make sure to properly fill out the waiver (for the room you will be playing!) and you will receive your team photo.
Nope! All of our rooms can be played without any knowledge of the turn of the century or its historical figures. Everything you need will be provided to you.

Cancellation & Reschedule Information
If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible!
- 5+ days notice: Eligible for a full refund to credit card (minus non-refundable $25 per room booking fee).
- Less than 5 days notice: Eligible for full store credit. Store credits are non-refundable and do not expire.
*Please note no cash / credit card refunds available with less than 5 days notice.
Cancellation and rescheduling requests made after 8 PM will be counted as submitted the next morning.
**In the event of COVID-19 infection, exposure, or symptoms, rooms may be cancelled for a full store credit at any time. Please provide as much notice as possible!
You can reschedule your reservation by clicking “manage this booking” in your confirmation email up to 7 days prior to your reservation start time.
If you must reschedule with less than a week’s notice or wish to cancel your reservation, please call or email us to make changes to your reservation.
